A downloadable game for Windows

Wool is a 2d platformer where you play as a cute sheep and use a needle, attached to you by your wool, as a grappling hook to navigate urban landscapes, starting with a junkyard run by a self-obsessed magpie, in order to find out who's responsible for all the trash being dumped on your front yard. The game is most heavily inspired by Mario series and SpiderHeck. Can you find all 7 collectible coins scattered around the level and beat the time trials by mastering the movement mechanics?

This a very great demo.

I'd say the best part  about Wool are the controls and the game feel.   The sheep feels very floaty, but  that is counteracted with a lot of weight. Which is perfect for the grapple physics and is a great design decision.

Speaking of, the grappling is fun. And the double jump helps with air motion.

Wool has a lot of potential with level design. The 1 level in the demo is pretty good intro to Wool's mechanics.  I would've loved to see some more static terrain to grapple between to balance the amount of moving platforms present.

The collectables and time trails add a lot of extra fun to the game. The collectables encourage you to explore the level and the time trails are for speedrunning. These are great and I found the buttons enjoyable to collect. (I also like how the buttons aren't collected immediately to encourage the player to play well)

The art is very cute. No complaints.

Overall, Wool is looking good. I'm solid this can become a full game if you put your mind to it.
